Seagull

A few days ago, at Tennessee Valley, I photographed this seagull. Then, yesterday, I made the mistake of buying a bigger and better guidebook - 'The SIBLEY Guide to Birds'. I had no idea there were so many different seagulls, each just slightly different. After a laborious back and forth I concluded that this is probably a juvenile Western Gull. There's a German saying "wer die Wahl hat, hat die Qual", meaning that choice is torture!
