I'm an old guy, living near San Francisco. I was born in Austria and grew up in Shanghai. Long-distance running used to be my passion. Now it's digital photography and hiking. When people ask me what I like to take pictures of, my answer is "what I see". I follow world-events and am of a rather liberal stripe. Fireworks
I was at the Sausalito Yacht Club this evening, taking pictures of their fireworks. If you haven't already figured it out, I hand-held my camera for this picture. I don't need no stink'n Jackson Pollock!
I just became a member of Sausalito Yacht Club. I have been going for the last couple of years because I have friends who are members. So finally decided to become a member myself.
I love this location. It is perfect and the views are fantastic. The outdoor seating is very comfortable and the people are friendly but most importantly you can go with friends and just chill with a great view and away from the tourist crowd of Sausalito.
