I really like Black-necked Stilts. They are so graceful, carefully picking each step with their loooong legs! I took this picture a couple of days ago, near the Village Shopping Center in Corte Madera. Specifically ~ I was on the Redwood Highway and the bird was in the waters of the Corte Madera Ecological Preserve. Note the delicious treat in his/her bill.
