Another picture from yesterday's Point Reyes expedition. Definitely a Pinwheel Marasmius unless, of course, I identified it incorrectly. Growing out of a decaying tree. My guidebook states that "like most marasmius species, this revives with the rain and seems to appear overnight in the wet morning woods".
