Ellis Creek is one of my favorite birding spots. However, I am not sure that the Turkey Vulture (see picture) should have been hired as the park's greeter. For, while this bird is one of the most beautiful in flight, it lacks a little charm when encountered close-up. How about a Bald Eagle instead?
