Cooper's Hawk

My Senior Advisor on Winged, Bipedal, Endothermic, Egg-laying Vertebrate Affairs, informs me that the bird I photographed at the Ponds yesterday, is an Immature Cooper's Hawk. Now you know.

hate to nit pick, but this is not an immature cooper's hawk. it is a gray morph, northern harrier. the white rump patch and overall gray color gives it away. an immature coopers will have a streaked breast, and an overall brown color. cool photo though!!!
