This morning Bob T. and I were actually looking for River Otters in the Ponds but, failing in that endeavor, we accepted the little Pocket Gopher's invitation to immortalize his/her visage. The gopher hole was right in the middle of the hard and rocky service road! Why there? Ya gotta ask the architect. The Ponds area is just a treasure-trove of animal life. Hurrah!
