Once again, a picture of a Rock Pigeon (Columba livia). As you know, I'm a pigeon-fancier. What you probably don't know is that a pigeon, named Cher Ami, received several medals in World War I, for saving the US Lost Battalion of the 77th Division in the Battle of the Argonne, October 1918.
