More Wild Cucumber

Upon receiving hundreds (well, at least two or three) of comments and inquiries regarding yesterday's Wild Cucumber Elegance picture, I thought that I should expand on the subject. Yesterday I showed tendrils, which the plant uses to climb shrubs and trees. Today's photograph is of the plant's ovary which, after fertilization, begins its transformation into the fruit of the wild cucumber. A fascinating plant for you botanists to study.
