After not leaving my perch at the kitchen window, for two weeks, in the hope of capturing the fawns on film (not really!), mom finally brought them by for the photo-shoot. Here's one of the little ones.
The white spots are for camouflage. The spots look like the rays of the sun, shining through leaves. Fawns also have little scent, a quality that protects them from predators.
