Yesterday, after having been sworn to secrecy, I was blindfolded and led to a magical hideaway, where, sitting on my trusty folding-chair, I observed Western Bluebirds, Titmice, California Quail, Woodpeckers, and even a couple of Lizards. All this just a few feet away. What a thrill!
My picture shows a Mama-Bluebird feeding her teenage offspring, certainly old enough to feed her/himself.
