I was wandering around the Marin County Fair today when I heard some beautiful fiddle-music. Facing the wall outside the little theater was a young woman. A romantic sight. The woman turned out to be Laura Smith (of Laura and Darin Smith, performers and instructors). She was warming up for a fiddling competition, which was soon to begin. I shot some regular portraits of Laura, but my favorite photo remained the one I have attached.
