Geese

Behind the medical building, at the corner of Bon Air Rd and Magnolia Avenue, on the bank of the Corte Madera Creek, a gaggle of geese appears every afternoon, to wait for their dinner. At 6 PM volunteers appear and feed the birds grain, lettuce and bread. This practice was started years ago by "Mother Goose", a lady originally from Germany (I think her name is Siegrid).

I don't know what kind of geese they are. I believe they are hybrids. What I do know is that they agreed to pose for me a couple of days ago. It wasn't easy to get the trio to stand just the way I asked them to, but finally we succeeded.
