I took this picture of the San Francisco Bay Bridge (on 2/21) from aboard the Larkspur Ferry on my pilgrimage to the S. F. Museum of Modern Art. The new tower, 525 feet high, dominates the scene. The bridge, scheduled for completion in late 2013, is a self-anchored suspension span, whatever that means. Searching for information on the Internet, I found a great website, complete with live web-cam -
