While the Sonoma-Marin-Area Rail Transit (better known as SMART) is moving from the conceptual stage toward the building stage (i.e. languishing), the Rancho Shazam Railroad is ready to go. It just lacks a few finishing touches. Passengers will have a lovely view of Mount Tamalpais (seen in the background) as they zip through Marin.
